Description

Introduction to Knitting & Crocheting

Grades: K-5th

Class Time:  4:30 – 5:30 PM

Classes per Semester: 12

 

Class Description



Must love....yarn!  In this knitting and crocheting class, students will learn the basics of knitting and crocheting, but also make really fun crafts as they incorporate the techniques they are mastering into new projects. 

 

About Carol Thompson



Carol
Thompson is a playwright, an actress and an improvisation comedian....and a knitter and crocheter!!!  She has over 10
years of experience working with young people making art. She plays the
mandolin and likes to shake her booty to the music! Ms. Carol is committed to
inspiring the spark of creativity in children no matter the age. 


Daily Afterschool Schedule

2:20 - 3:00pm: School pick-up / Arrival at City Kids
3:00 – 3:30pm: Snack & Relax
3:30 – 4:30pm: Homework help, games, rec time, arts & more!

4:30 – 5:30pm: Enrichment class
5:30 – 6:00pm: Pack-up & Pick-up
