Class Description
In Fitness Adventures, students will become more athletically confident and can hone their social and listening skills through sports and play. By using obstacle courses, exercise, Krav Maga and team building scenarios, kids will learn proper fitness mechanics, improve agility, and speed and eliminate performance anxiety. Students are encouraged to take a chance at each challenge presented and are facilitated through a reflection period and through feedback to say, “we did it” and to set students up for success.
About Fitness Adventures for Kids
With more than 1,200 active students, Fitness Adventures works across New York City's preschools to provide an enjoyable innovative motor skills class. Our clients are remarkably diverse: large and small, private, and public, for-profit and nonprofit. We help them grow, sustain, and transform their fitness program. Interactive sessions to develop body awareness, flexibility, agility, core strength, coordination, and athletic confidence: whatever it takes to embrace and catapult their athleticism for the future.
