Description

When school is out...CK Mini Camps are in! 

Our Mini Camps are jam-packed with fun! Kiddos will get the day to explore our Learning Labs and participate in classes like:

  • STEAM
  • Art
  • Theater
  • Sports & Recreation

Class Requirements

  • We are required by the Department of Health to maintain a copy of your child’s current medical examination form and vaccination records. The medical form is available to download during the registration process and is the same form required by your child’s elementary school.  Please submit these forms prior to your child’s fist day at City Kids to afterschool@citykids.nyc .
  • If your child has an allergy that requires an Epi-Pen, you will need to submit an Individualized Healthcare Plan completed by your child
    physician. This form is available to download during the registration process. Epi-pens should be kept onsite with your child at all times. Please submit these forms prior to your child’s fist day at City Kids to     afterschool@citykids.nyc.

Sample Class Format

  • 9am: Drop Off
  • 9am – 9:30am: Morning Huddle! Kids will get to know their fellow campers and counselors & review the rules and schedule for the day.
  • 9:30am - 12pm: Kids will participate in enrichment classes and activities.
  • 12pm-1pm: Lunch
  • 1pm-3:00pm: Kids will participate in enrichment classes and activities.
  • 3pm - 3:30pm: Prepare for Full Day Dismissal
  • 3:30pm - 6pm: Extended Day Play - Games, Rec Time, Arts & more!

What To Bring

  • Lunch: Please send your child with lunch packed in an insulated bag to keep food at a proper temperature. We will provide snacks during the day!
  • Water bottle (labeled)

Please remember that we are a nut-sensitive school and foods containing nuts or foods baked with nut oils, nut flours or nut butters are not allowed at school for snack, lunch, or celebrations.
