City Kids Summer Camp | Session 1 | July 1 - July 5 | Superhero Adventures! 🦹💥🦸‍♀️

Do you have a tiny superhero in the making?

In this theme, kids can create their own superhero identities and learn about the skills and qualities that make a hero. They might participate in mock superhero missions and learn about real-life heroes, throughout various workshops this week focused on STEAM, cooking, theater, art and movement throughout the week.

In the afternoons, our superhero crew will head out in Metropolis for fun filled and action packed activities at McCarren Park fields, sprinklers and other superhero friendly spaces around the neighborhood.

Superhero gear is welcome!

Sample Daily Schedule

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM  | Drop Off to City Kids

9:30 AM - 10:00 AM | Morning Group Meetings

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Enrichment Workshop (rotates daily between STEAM, Art, Cooking, Theater and Movement)

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM | Lunch

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM  | Campers head outdoors to the park, sprinklers or around the neighborhood

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Afternoon meeting | Snack | Dismissal of full day campers

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM | Games, activities and crafts | Pack up for dismissal of extended day campers
