Free school pick up from P.S. 110, P.S. 132, Brooklyn Arbor

Sadly, we will no longer be offering pick up from P.S. 31 and P.S. 34; our decision to eliminate pick up from these schools was a tough one, but we did not have enough enrollment to support these schools.  Drop-In option is available. See below for details.

We are excited to share our offerings for our Spring 2024 afterschool program and some important changes as to how we will be running our program going forward.

• This semester you will be able to choose one (1) enrichment class for your child each day they attend the program.  This is the class they will participate in for the entire semester. 
• Classes will be offered according to your child’s year in school.  Kids have different skill sets and abilities at different ages and we want everyone to get the most out of their classes by learning alongside their peers.   Classes will be offered based on age group ranges, so please select accordingly!
  
• Parents will now have the option drop their children off at City Kids next semester if school pick up is not available or needed.  Drop-In hours are from 3:00 PM up until 6:00 PM.  This includes one enrichment class, snack, homework help and other afterschool activities.  There is no discount pricing for Drop In students.
  
• Please note that our cooking classes now have an additional cost built into the semester price.  We have added a $5/per class supply fee for each child cover costs of food and packaging. 
• Additionally, our Advanced Art class has an additional cost built into the semester price.  We have added a $5/per class supply fee for each child cover the cost of certain art supplies. 
• City Kids requires a full semester commitment.
• Upon the absence of a vendor, City Kids reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher or substitute class for that day.  There will be no credits for substitute days. 
• We do not allow drop ins on days for which your child is not registered.

Our Afterschool Curriculum

The CK Learning Labs are dedicated spaces where our afterschool enrichment classes take place. Kiddos can explore being an artist, an inventor, a builder, a chef, an actor, a singer, a musician, a dancer, an athlete or even a yogi. And, when all that gets tiring, they can chill out in the student lounge, read a book or play a board game.

Daily Schedule

2:00 - 3:00 PM: Local school pick up and arrival at City Kids

3:00 - 3:30 PM: Snack and relax

3:30 - 5:30 PM: Enrichment classes, homework, and activities

5:30 - 6:00 PM: Pack up and get ready for parent pick up

CK Perks

If your child attends City Kids on a day when DOE has early dismissal, we will pick your child up for at no extra cost. 

Children who attend City Kids afterschool programs get FREE extended day care for mini-camp days!
